| Klatt leads Canadian
Invasion on Joss Tour |
Mike Zuglan brought his Joss NE
9-Ball Tour to Classic Billiards in Rochester, NY over the weekend
for a $2000 added event that drew 45 players.
With Rochester's proximity to Canada, the Canadian contingent
was well represented at this event. Roughly a dozen Canadian
cue warriors set their sights on the first prize and at the
end of the day, it was two Canadian fighting it out for the
hot-seat.
Jason Klatt and John Morra were the last two Canadians standing
on the winners side and they put on a show in their match for
the hot-seat. Klatt took this match by the score of 9-8.
On the one loss side, Morra defeated Dan Doerner to earn a rematch
with Klatt in the finals. Morra still didn't have an answer
for Klatt in the finals though, as Klatt scored the 9-6 win.
Klatt earned $1500 for first place, while Morra settled for
$1000.
The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour will be at Ball Busters Billiards in
Binghampton, NY next weekend for a $1500 added event.
